Did someone wake up the sleeping giant? Finally we see Nokia coming out with a touch screen phone. Are we going to see a keen contest to the Apple iPhone? Apple iPhone has been a wonder with no other touch screen devices coming close to it in terms of commercial success. In fact before the iPhone, touch screens were used by top executives and business people or the technically affiliated. With the iPhone millions of people are now using touch screen and swearing by the easy way of doing things.
In Nokia 5800 Xpress Media, Nokia introduces a very PDA specification with 3.2 megapixel camera, Wifi, GPS and touch screen. It takes on the iPhone headon and the other touch screen models like successful HTC Touch or Sony Ericsson P1.
The 5800 Tube is expected to come by end of 2008, this is one touch screen war we are anxious to watch!
